When you use our forum, we collect and store the following information:

Your account information and forum content are stored in an SQL database.
Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.
Our website is hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
We use Cloudflare for DDoS protection and security enhancements.
We do not allow third-party trackers, analytics, or embedded ads.
We use a token cookie to keep you logged in after closing your browser.
This cookie does not track browsing behavior, and is required for login sessions.
When you log out, your token cookie gets revoked, and your session gets destroyed.
When you change your password, your current token cookie gets revoked, and a new one is generated.
Account Deletion Process
Users can delete their account at any time by going to the "Manage Account" page and selecting "Delete Account".
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Deleted: Username, email, password, email verification status, and last email/name change dates.
Retained:Unique ID, time and date that your posts/comments were posted, and the time and date your account was created.
You will see a which data has been deleted, and which data has been kept after the deletion has been finalized.
We currently do not send emails, but in the future, we may send essential emails regarding:
Account registration.
Email or password changes.
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.
Our forum is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can delete the information.
We aim to be GDPR-compliant by ensuring:

Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data.
Right to Deletion: You can delete your account at any time.
